Boss Media
History…
Boss
Media was founded in 1996 as one of the early interactive gaming
solution developers. In
1997 they launched their proprietary casino, Gold Club Casino,
powered by Boss Media software.
Subsequent enquiries from casino operators soon lead to a
number of licensee casinos operating on Boss Media software.
Boss Media sold Gold Club Casino in February 2004 to
concentrate on providing e-gaming solutions to licensees.
Characterised
by…
Very
much in the Wagerlogic and Playtech mould, Boss Media games excel at
providing a realistic casino ambience. The 3D graphics are super sharp and the look and feel of
games goes a long way to replicating the real casino experience.
Boss Media were also one of the first software providers to
offer multi-play games with chat.
We like because…
Super
crisp graphics and gaming environment.
Playing games at Boss is about as close as you can get to the
real thing without actually being at the casino.
Also, Boss Media’s gaming platform has a modular
architecture so that it can incorporate new digital distribution
channels such as interactive digital television.
We dislike
because…
Game
range offered by Boss Media is terrible.
If you are happy to play your favorite game only, and that
game is one of the casino stalwarts like Blackjack, Roulette,
Baccarat or Craps you will love Boss Media.
If you are looking to play a diverse range of casino games
and like some variety then give Boss a miss.
Their slots and progressive ranges are also a long way behind
the offerings of most of the other software providers.
Our favorite
Boss Media casinos…
