Evolution signs Unibet for Live Dealer Casino

Published 21 Jun 2009 by Angela Cordy

Unibet is the the latest in a growing list of big name online casino operators to sign Evolution Gaming as their live dealer platform provider.

Unibet is one of the largest online gambling operators in the market today with just under 500 staff and a claimed 3.3 million customers signed since going online in 1997. They are based in Malta and owned by Unibet Plc.

They join the growing list of big name online gambling operators to sign up with Evolution Gaming. Other recent big name licensee sign-ups to Evolution's live dealer platform include William Hill, 888.com, PartyGaming, Gala Coral and Victor Chandler.

Evolution's business is growing so rapidly they have had to double floorspace in their Riga, Latvia dealer studio to cope with demand for their live blackjack, roulette and baccarat product which allows players to play against a real live dealer rather than RNG games.

"The addition of Evolution's products to Unibet's platform is further evidence that live gaming is now seen by the online gaming industry as an essential addition to the traditional random-number-generator systems," said Jens von Bahr, chief executive officer of Evolution Gaming. "We have recently expanded our studios to meet the demand of our client's customers who prefer playing their favourite games in real-life style casinos while interacting with their own croupier."
