Simple and exciting. All players need to do is place their bet on the table. If their number comes up when the wheel stop spinning, they win. Easy!

Players place their bet on the table on a number that corresponds to a number on the wheel. The wheel has 38 compartments numbered 0 – 36 (there is usually a 00 also, but not always). Once the wheel has begun spinning, a small white ball will drop randomly into one of the slots to determine the winning number. Players who have chosen the winning number(s) win. The amount is determined on the precise type of bet placed.

Roulette table (American 00)

Players can place several different types of bets.

Outside:

  • Twelve number column

Players should place their chip(s) in the area marked 2- 1 at the opposite end of 0 and 00. This option gives a 2 to 1 payout with a 31.58% probability of winning.

  • Twelve number numerical

Players should place their chip(s) on the areas marked 1st, 2nd or 3rd 12.  1st 12 corresponds to numbers 1-12, 2nd 12 refers to numbers 13-24 and 3rd 12 refers to numbers 25-36.  This option gives a 2 to 1 payout with a 31.58% probability of winning.

  • Eighteen numbers – Red or Black

Players should place their chip(s) on the red or black diamonds. This option gives a 1 to 1 payout with a 47.37% probability of winning.

  • Eighteen numbers – High or Low

Players should place their chip(s) on the 1-18 section or the 19-36 section. This option gives a 1 to 1 payout with a 47.37% probability of winning.

  • Eighteen numbers – Odd or Even

Players should place their chip(s) on the odd or even sections. This option gives a 1 to 1 payout with a 47.37% probability of winning.

Inside:

  • One number

Players can place their chip(s) within the square of one particular number (00,0 or 1-36). This option gives a 35 to 1 payout with a 2.63% probability of winning.

  • Two numbers

Players can place their chip(s) on the line between two numbers. Either number coming up enables the player to win. This option gives a 17 to 1 payout with a 5.26% probability of winning.

  • Three numbers

Players can place their chip(s) on the outer edge of the line to secure a row of three numbers. This option gives a 11 to 1 payout with a 7.89% probability of winning.

  • Four numbers

Players can place their chip(s) on four numbers by allowing the chip to overlap all four squares. This option gives a 8 to 1 payout with a 10.53% probability of winning.

  • Five numbers

Players beware! This bet actually increases the House edge to 2.5%. This option gives a 6 to 1 payout.

  • Six numbers

Players should place their chip(s) between two rows (of three) on the lines dividing the inside and outside areas. This option gives a 5 to 1 payout with a 15.79% probability of winning.
